This site is mainly a lot of ranting about random shit, horror movies and literature, though rarely horror literature for some reason. But it is also about serious business, in whatever form that might take. And who knows, horror movies and literature might be serious business at times. It’s a strange world we live it after all. Here be dragons, right alongside J.M. Coatzee, Robert Stam and Freddy Krueger.
I am, currently, a student of literature at the University of Oslo, where I’ve been for way too many years in my own humble opinion, but I like the place so I keep finding reasons to stick around, besides the coffee and the beautiful young ladies. I’ve lately been working a great deal with issues concerning translation, the reader/writer and symbolism. A lot of it concerns the relationship between the West and the Orient, both past and present. I have no idea where it will all end up, but I’m heading there anyway. A lot the things that get posted here, of a more serious nature, will be about literature simply because it is such a huge part of my life and it is something that I’m deeply interested in. You are hereby warned; continue at your own risk, it might get boring.
I am, also, a freelance photographer, illustrator and writer, which are some of the reasons for this site. It is the home for several projects of mine, some that has been started and that you can see here already and some that are in the motions. As with everything else, I have no idea where it will all end up, but it is all good. You can check out further descriptions about all this at those sections.
